Fish oil. 2s 6d gallon. — We hold our sales every Monday. There is a good demand. We quote : — Light racks, B|d; summers, to lOd; best autumns, 14|d; autumns, 13fd; second winter does, from 19d to 20d ; outgoing does, 16d to 16£ d; outgoing bucks, 15Jd to 16d; winter bucks, 16d to 17d; spring does, 13 Jd to 14$ d; spring bucks, to 14Jd. We supply labels. Sheepskins. — We quote: — Halfbred, 6Jd to 7d; fine crossbred, sid to 6Jd; crossbred, 5d to 62d; merino, up to 5Jd; lambs, 4Jdi io sd; pelts, to 4Jd7 fallen skins, Id to ljd per lb lower. Hides. — We held our usual fortnightly sale of hides out January 8, to a good attendance of buyers. The market was firm foi both medium and light hides. We had no heavy hides on offer. Calfskins were also in good demand. We realised 7|d per lb for a line of 23 calfskins. We quote : — Extra stout. 7£d to 8d; heavy ox, 6d to 7Jd; medium, 4|d to s|d: light, 4d to 4Jd; hea-vy stout cows, 5d to 6d; medium, 4id to s|d; light, 4d to 4?d, 5Jd; yeatrlings, 4Jd to sd; stags and bulls, Ber to BJd ; calfskins — best, 6d to 7gd ; cut and inferior, 3d to 6d. Wool. — Good clean crc-sabied, 7d; crossbred, 5d to 6£d ; dingy and biddy, up to 3d ; pieoes and bellies, up to 3|d; locks, up to 2Jd; dead wool, 5Jd. Cowhaix. — Best up to lid; good from 9d to 10id. Catskins, 3d each. fiorsebair. — There is a good demand f«r all classes, especially clean hair, which is quoted 174 to 18d; mixed, lid to 16Jd. Sough fat, from 12s to 16a, according to quality. Caul fit, from 16s to 18s. Talloif, in ti»s, 16s to 16s, according to Quality; prim-* whit* mutton, in cakes, suitable for tanners, up to 235; prime white mutton, in casks, 20s to 245; prim* atutten tallow, in tins. 18s to 20s. Storing Grain. — We are prepared t» store, receive, deliver, and insure for three months fre« storage at 3d per sack. Farm Produce and Fruit. — We receive all kinds of consignments, and render account sales promptly. Walnuts. — 5d to 6d per lb. Salt butter, 8d to 9d; separator, lOd. Fresh butter (in pats), storekeepers', 7d to Bd. Eggs. — Fresh, in good demand, Is Id per dozen. Cheese. — Factory, 7d; Akaroa, 6Jd per lb; old, 7d per lb; loaf, id more. Honey. — In good demand. Section honey, lew season's. 8s to 8s tier doz. ; bulk, larg» tins, 4d to 4Jd; small tins, 4Jd to 4Jd. Beeswax, Is 4d, wanted. Hams. 3d. Bacon.— Roll, BJd to 9d; sid«3, 7d to 6d (•low of sale).
