Piioes remain, firm. the quantity on offer being too email to influence ihe market in any way. Farmers ' now seem determined to dispose of their holdings, and very little grain will be held t over. Values are : Tusoin and pearl 4a 2d to 4s 3d, Hunters 4s Id, whole fowl wheat 3s lid to 4e. There is ©till a fair demand for A grade cats for shipment to London, also for B giaide, required for ooaetal shipment. On the other hand, lighter sorts of duns and Danish are very difficult to dispose of, and only very low rates are ruling. Quo- , tatione are : A grade Gartons Is bid to i Is iy\ on trucks, B grade Is 5d to Is 6d, j Danish and duns la 3d to Is 4d. The demand for oatsheaf chaff has fallen i off considerably owing to the excessive \ quantity on offer, and) 55s is now the highest price offered by merchants for prime quality on trucks. |
