The fourth round of the Auckland Cricket Association's championships was concluded jesterday afternoon in fine weather. Ini tho Senior Grade City beat University by 161 runs on the fir.->t innings. City made 366 (MaeCormick 192. not out) and the University 205. Parnell and Grafton played! a drawn game. Resum.in«r, with three wicket* down for 337, Parnell declared their first innings closed with the ecore at 362 for four wickets (Hutching 60, not out). Grafton made 290 for nine wickets (Cottell 93, Jones 54. and Mason 39, not out). Poneonby beat Eden Colts by 18 en the first innings. Ponsonby mad© 209 and Eden Colte 191 (Relf 87). North Shore beat Eden A by 47 runs on the first inninigs, the forme* making 200 and the latter 153 (Cumming* 54J Going in again North /ihore made 161 for four wickets (Canmindar 44). Bowlinf for North Shore Haddon took five wicket* for 37 run 3.
