LONDON, October 19. The wool sales closed very firm. October 20. At the wool sales brisk general competition wa« maintained till tlhe close, Americans bidding keenly. The quantity cold for tbe home market was. 106,500 bales j for the Continent, 102,000} for America, 9C00; held over, 37,000.
