The resuilt of the shooting match by the poet offices of the Empire resulted : — Melbourne, 959 ... ... 1 Pietermaritzburg, 906 2 Johannesburg, 905 3 Others : Sydney, 831 ; Capetown, 875 ; Adelaide, 860; Wellington, 795; London, 776. SYDNEY, October 13. Favoured by excellent weather condition.?, some remarkable shooting was done at the Rifle Association' 6 meeting. Hudson (Victoria) scored 32 consecutive bull's-eyes in the 500 yards mateh — an Australasian record. Two others made the possible, and five others one short. At 900 yards four eecured. possibles and five .within one of the possible. October 14. Nineteen competitors made possibles at the 200 yards and 34 at the 500 yards ranges in the King's Match at the New South Wales rifle aneeting. October 15. At the national rifle meeting the King's Prize was won by Sergeant Edwards (Sydney), with a score of 312 points. Fisher (Sydney) was second, with 305 (points. . October 17. Sergeant Edwards, winner of the King's Prize, also won the New South Wales Rifle Association's champion medaL MELBOURNE, OotoJbe* 19.
