NORTH ISLAND ENTRIES. j CHBISTCHURH. October 19. It ie expected that the space applied for by agricultural implement makers at the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association's metropolitan show will total close npon 70,000 square feet in all. The Department of Agriculture lias made 30 entries of North Island 6heep. representing about 40 sheep. The breeds entered are English Leicesters, Southdowns, and Rylands. They are coming from the department's experimental farm at Ruakura," Waikato. Fifteen entries hare also ibeen received from a North Island breeder, representing about 20 sheep. These NoTth Island entries will impart considerable additional interest in the competitions in the sheep classes.
