MOUNT LYELL RETURNS. MELBOURNE. October 16.
The Mount Lyell returns from September 10 fciU October 7 inclusive show that 30,179 tons of ore were treated, in addition to 18 tons of purchased ore. The converters produced 587 tons of Mister copper, containing 580 tons copper, 50,5220z silver, 11420z jjold. The decreased .yield of blister copper is attributed to the ooraewhat lower tonnage mined and the slightly lower assayed values of the ore.
