A drop of from, Id to 2d per bushel must be chronicled on the week's operations, with the inquiry chiefly for seed parcels. There has been a fair inquiry for clhaff for shipment to Australia and the North Island, and prices are unchanged. The- price of 'rash eggs, in consequence of increased supplies, has fallen to lid per dozen, • - v The following quotations are for purchases from farmers, net cash, sacks- octra, except where otherwise specified : — Wheat, 3s lid tc 4s Id, at country stations-. Oats: Duns Is lid, Ganons Is lid to 2s, sparrowbills Is lid tc 2s Id, Canadians 26 tc 2s Id, at country stations. Barley: Extra prime 5s to 5s Bd, second * quaJity 4s to ss. Chaff: Oatsheaf £3 15s to £3 17s 6d, at country stations. Potatoes : Up-to-dates and Derwents £3 10s to £3 12* 6d. Oatmeal, £13 10s. Flour. — The New Zealand Flourmillers* Co-operative Association (Ltd.) quotes the following- prices per ton, local or shipping : Sacks £10 10s, 1001b baps £11, 501b bags £11 ss, 251b bags £11 ltfe. Bran £5 15s, pollard £7. Seeds : Ryegrass, light 2s 6d to 2s Bd, heavy 3s to 3s 6d ; cocksfoot 6|d to Bd. Dairy Produce. — Cheese: Dairy, large 6^d, loaf 6d ; factory, large s|d to 6d.
