RESTORATION TO HEALTH.

WELLINGTON, February I.
The Hon. W. Hall-Jones, Minister of Public Works and Railways, who left New Zealand some months ago broken down in health as a result of his arduous Ministerial labours, returned to Wellington by the Connthic to-day and received a fitting and warm welcome from his colleagues and friends. The Corinthic steamed into the harbour in the early hours of tlic morning, pnd shortly after 7 o'clock all the Ministers at present in Wellington w ent out to bid their colleague welcome. The public will be pleased to learn that Mr Hall-Jones is in excellent spirits and will resume duty at an early date. In the matter of weather the trip was not all that could perhaps be desired, but it served its purpose and served it well. The other members nf the party — Mrs Hall-Jones, Miss Hall-Jones, Bnd the Minister's private secretary (Mr Geo. Schmidt) — who accompanied the Minister on his voyage are also in good health.
