Monday Evening. On New Year's Eve Mrs Petre, St. Clair, gave her young' people a delightful little dance, most of the guests being residents -of St. Clear. A large room) with an excellent 'floor 'had' been, prepared .for dancing, and supper was served in the dining room, where the table was prettily d'eoouatedi ■with" pink geraniums and the lights softened with dainty pink candle shades.
