Owarton were all dismissed by Parnell for 67, OHiff securing four wickets for 31 runs. Parnell lost seven wickets for 172 runs, ftale scoring 86, Olliff 36, and Robinson 24. In bowling C. Hay secured four wickets for 14 runs, and'Brierly one for 7 for Grafton. North Shore and Ponsonby, who started play in the rain last week, finished their inatoh. North Shore responded to Poneonby's 48 with 190 runs for eight wickets, «nd then deolared their innings closed. Bush made 24 not out, Hollingrake 24, and STarguh&rson 80. Ponsonby'e second innings realised 136, the t-eam batting one man ■hort. Young made 44 and Jacomben 34. Bush took six wickets for 60 runs, and Walker two for three. North Shore vron fey an innings and 6 runs.
