LAND SALES.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and- Co. report having /recently effected the following sales «f station and torn properties in Dtago and Southland: — On account of Mr Samuel Henry (Evan's Flat). hi 3 well-known Bellamy Station, near Lawrence, comprising about 8800 acres of Jreehold and 28.000 acres of leasehold, io Mr John Man Sell (Timaru), who <dso purchased all the stock on thg station, comprising 10,080 sheep, and horses, J?ttle, «nd station plant. On account of Mr W. M. Stales (Balfour), his Ardluaua and Cattle Fl»t properties, comprising 11.240 acres freehold and 6000 acres leasehold, also 5000 •heep, and horses, cattle, etc., depasturing thereon, to Messrs Donald Macdonald (Edendate) and T. L. Barnhjjl (Castlerock). On account of Messrs J. M. and D. A, M'Kenzie (of Palmerston), their Bushey Park Estate, comprising 2260 acres of freehold and 86 acres of leasehold, being all first-ckss -agricultural a>nd " fattening land, -with splendid homestead and grounds, ioMr Roderick M'Kenzie, late of Bifchwod Estate). Mr M'Kenzie also took >ver ate^ and fattening land, 'with splendid homestead and grounds. Mr M'Kenzie also -took over at valuation ■•bout 4000 sheep, mostly breeding ewes, with lambs. "Wallis (Gore), the homestead block of the Weimea Estate, comprising 1040 acres, to Mr James Butler (Balfonr). On account of Mr John Wither (Dunedin), his fine freehold property, known as Meadowbank Estate, situated near Palmerston, and containing -about 4318 acres, to the New Zealand Government, for Ooser settlement. On account of Mr John Edie, (Edievale), lis splendid agricultural and pastoral property, situated in the Crookaton district, -and containing 3500 acres freehold, to Mr William Palmer (Merino Downs). On account of the Executors in the estate of the late Mr James Miiean (Waikaia), his Eouteburn Station in the Lake Wmkatipn district, containing 930 acres freehold and about 33,000 acres leasehold, together with all the stock thereon, to Mr D.
