the corresponding month of 1906. For the month iust closed the total was £25,618 Is lOd," whilst for November, 1906, the figures read £35,035 16s Id. The beer excise duty for last month amounted to £3010 12s sd, as against £2830 5s 2d for the same .month last year. The amount of gold exported was 24570z, valued at £9830. This is considerably below the total for November, 1906, when the export was 99520z, valued at £40,390.
