At the Church of the Holy Trinity at Kamara last evening there was a large congregatkm, when Ihe dedication of a handsome oak lectern presented by Mrs R. J. Seddon in memory of her late husband took place. - Mrs and Miss Seddon were present. An eloquent address, containing references to thex services of the deceased statesman's work i» the KumaTa Church, wat delivered by the Rev. Mr Hore. who read the faculty of the bishop of the dioces* permitting thfr memorial m the church. After the service the lectern waa examined by a number of friends. It takes th€ form of an eagle with wings outspread, and bearing an inscription stating rhat it was presented to the church by Mra Seddon in memory of the late Mr R. J. Seddon.
