OAMARU, December 2. Charles Kearne was charged before Mr R. H. Turton, S.M, to-day with keepingliquor for sale between the 10th and the 17th of October. The evidence showed that defendant had- two gallons on the 11th of October, and that on the 17th he bad none, but for the defence it was proved that all but two bottles had been ■jiven away. Judgment was reserved.
