THE GOVERNMENT'S PROGRAMME.
LONDON, July 26. Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman ha 6 dropped several more bills in order that the House; may rise on August 24. July 27. Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman. says that the Government intends to pass 22 more bills, including the Merchant Shipping Tonnage, the Australian States Constitution, and the Evidence on Colonial Statutes Bills. He considers that it will be possible to pass another 17 bills if the Opposition is not extreme. Mr Balfour says, he considers' such a programme ludicrous. The supporters of the Deceased Wife's Sister Bill intend to appeal to the Government to press the measure through.
