THE COMPETITIONS.
The twelfth competition is one that I promised you in the very beginning — do you remember? It will be "The Best Set of Instructions for Keeping a Garden in Order for .a Year." I want the answers all to be rgiven in single sentences, as short as possible, with, one sentence for each separate direction, • and* each sentence beginning a new line. Otherwise; you may draw up your . directions as you think best, either giving special directions -for 'each month or general directions for the year. We will confine our attentions to a flower garden, please, as fruit and vegetables would, I fear, make xanch too wide a question for us. The entries for -this competition must reach Dot not later than August 28, and must be accompanied by the following coupon:— •
