- CHRISTCHURCH, July 29. j The official report for the tenth weeK of th« Utility Poultry Club's third egglaying competition at Lincoln College' 3howa* that 951 eggs were laid during the week. , making the total to date 8527. The highest results for the week were: — J Tonge (white Leghorns), 31; Hj^Haw&e (silver Wyan- " dottes), 29; Allan Petrie (silver Wyan* i dottes), 28 ; Allan Petrie (white Leghorns), 28;, A. Snodgrass. (black Orpingtons), 28,;| T. Kennedy (silver WyandottejO, 27; H. F. Anderson (silver Wyandottes), 27 The best totals to date are : —H. Hawke (silver Wyandottes), 261; J. Jackman (silver. Wyandottes),, 261; £. Kennedy (silver Wyandottes), 255; W., Knight (black Orpingtons), 249; W. Forest "(black Orping* tons), 247; W. Sibley (silver Wyandottes}, * 245; A. W. V. Clarke (silver Wyandottes), 240; Allan Petrie (white Leghorns), 234 ;i W. Stalker (silver Wyandottes), 226; Mis* Rita Nixon (white Leghorns), 221 GREYMOUTH, July 29. The jesults of the twelfth week of the New Zealand Poultry Journal's duck egg-laying competition shows that 236 eggs were laid, the three highest being C. Ruhen (Dunedin) 23, Williams and Simpson (Reefton) 22, Mrs Lacy (Dunedin) 22. To date 1581' eggs have been laid, and the three leading aggregates are: Mrs Lucy, 193; Wj Knight, -180; Scott and Wareham, 179.
