The jesults of the twelfth week of the New Zealand Poultry Journal's duck egg-laying competition shows that 236 eggs were laid, the three highest being C. Ruhen (Dunedin) 23, Williams and Simpson (Reefton) 22, Mrs Lacy (Dunedin) 22. To date 1581' eggs have been laid, and the three leading aggregates are: Mrs Lucy, 193; Wj Knight, -180; Scott and Wareham, 179.
