The nightly play at baccarat at the Gr^.nd Circle is for stakes as high as those at Monte Carlo, and to such proportions has the fever risen that extensive arrangements are in progress for affording the hosts of players vastly enlarged facilities next season. A magnificent now casino is being built at Monte Carlo, and another splendid new gaming casino is to be erected here on the A\enue Ma&scna. A syndicate has also bought a beautiful pare chambrun outside of Nice, whore it is proposed to erect still another huge gambling-house to rival that at Monte Carlo. At Cannes, too, a syndicate is busy ccnstructinc; a palatial casino. Rich Americans are contributing largely, though involuntarily, to the building funds of the new casinos.
