A communication from London on March 29 says : The Tokio correspondent cf the Daily Telegraph reports that the submission of the House of Peers' amendments to the bill for the nationalisation of the railways to the Hor.se of Rcpr<>«entati\es caused a free fight. There was a considerable exchange of blows and tearing of clothes among members. Eventually the police were summoned, restoring order and closing the doors in order to frustrate tiio attempt of the Opposition to leave the House in a body. The bill was adopted by a vote of 21+, the -Opposition declining to record its vote, as it considered the Government's action inconsistent with the principles of constitutional £O\ernment.
