Twenty-five rural sections remaining on the Flaxbourne Estate and the 24- allotments were under offer this week, and the necessary balloting took place on SaturdayThere were 36 applications for the small farms, and 19 of" these sections were disposed of to Marlborough and Canterbury people. There were only five applications for town sections, and four were disposed of, leaving 16 still in the market.
