BERLIN, August 21. Colonel Leutwein has resigned the Governorship of German South-west Africa, and Colonel you Lindeguist succeeds him. August 22. Colonel Lindeguist's appointment is equivalent to General Trotha's supercession. The mortality among Herero prisoners in the Swakopnxund concentration camp for February, March, and April equalled 720 per thousand per annum. CAPETOWN, August 22. The British authorities in Bechuanaland have disarmed Maharero and other captains and 750 Hereros.
