During the sitting of the Native Land Court in Ri\erton on W echo id ay. ilr Bishop, S.^L. stated that ho would not hear any applications in respect to ownership of the mutton bird islands, as the Government intended shortly to introduce logislatioi dealing with them. Natives at present claiming ownership of the various islands were merely trustees for all the Katived.
