AGAINST KENT. LONDON, August 24.

The Australians began, their match •gainst Kent at Canterbury to-day in delightful weather. The wicket "was fast and the attendance 3000. The teams were constituted as follo-vr — Kent.—Marsham, Dillon, S. H. Day, A. Day, J. R. Mason, Humphreys, Seymour, Huish, A. Hearne, Fairservice, Blythe.
