THE VINCENT JOCKEY CLUB'S MEETING.
The Vincent Jockey Club has published the particulars of the three principal ovem s to be decided at its annual race meeting, which is to take place on January 1 and 2. Th© Ne-w Tear Handicap Trot, of 60sors, two miles (saddle or harness), is. open to allcomers, and the Matakanui Handicap, of 60sovs, seven furlongs, are two well-endowed stakes, which should attract the patronage of owners; and the Vincent Trotting Stakas Handicap, of SOsovs, one mile and a-quarter, is for all horses bred and reared in the Vincent, Lake, Maniototo, and Tuapeka Counties. Nominations for each of these events close on Saturday, September 16.
