CONDEMNED MEAT. WELLINGTON, August 16.
With reference to tae cab'.e from London dated August 8, stating that a portion of the consignment of meat by the s.s. Somerset hac been condemned at Liverpool as spotty, the JSf-ew Zealand and African S'beamship Company (the agents for the vessel) have madte inquiries, and they state that only 100 lambs out of a whole cargo -were damaged, and these, appar ently, prior to shipment.
