The football match between Manawatu and Wanganui took place to-day, and resulted in a victory for Wanganui by 9 points vo 3. The game was played in heavy rain, and the ground was a quagmire. Play was chiefly confined to the forwards. Halfway through the first spell the ball was kicked over tiw Wanaanui linej and Stalker.
