DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
A special meeting of the Dunecliin Jockey Cuib Ccmmittce, held on Tuesday, 20th, was attended by the Hon. G. M'Lean (in the chair), Messrs Coughlan, Myers, Hazlett, Mills, and Miller. Apo!ogies were received from Messrs Solomon, Thomson, and Hanlon.
The following dates were selected for racing fixtures for 1905-6:— October 11 and 14; summer meeting, December 26 and 27 ; autumn meeting, February 21, 22. 24; winter meeting, June 2 and 4.
The dates submitted by country clubs wera approved wiith slight alterations, and ordered! to be forwarded on to the secretary of the Racing Conference. It was decided to apply for the same number of totalisatox permits as last year, and to recommend if any permits are available that the first be grantedl to the Waikouaiti dub, and the second to the Ferbury Club.
