TEOTTING HORSE BREEDERS, OWNERS AND TRAINERS' ASSOCIATION.
A general meeting of members of the Colonial Trotting Horse Breeders, Owners, and Trainers' Association took place on Fricts-" evening, 22 members being present, with 7!T<. L. Wilson, president, in the chair. The secretary read the report of the committee, which was approved by the meeting.
After soxne discussion in connection with ■"arious matters the following resolutions were carried- — "That a letter be sent to the Greymouth Trotting Club expressing this association's approval of the New Zealand Futurity Stakes, and wishing it success." "That it be a, recommendation to this association's committes to approadb. the various c'ub3 with regard to Futurity and two-year-old stakes for coming season." "That a vote of thanks be passed to Mr Carl, president of the Plumpton Park Trotting Club, for taking this association into hi>3 confidence in regard to the programme drawn up for that club's next meeting, which this association unanimously approves of." "That the Metropolitan Trotting Club be asked to meet a deputation on Monday or Tuesday in reference to its April programme .owing to the conditions of a number of the races affecting a numbsr of owners, and which will militate Dgainst a large nomination."
