CUSTOMS RETURNS. AUCKLAND, April.
The Customs returns for March show an mcrase of £ 20, 000 in net Customs duties compared with March last year. The export duties for the sarnie period also show the following increases:— Butter .£9877; cheese, £487. The decreases were: — Beef, £87, against £47511 lamb, £11,279, against £13.429.
NAPIER, April 1
The Customs receipts for the financial year ended yesterday, totalled £77,792, sin mcrersa of £5000 compared wiuh the previous 12 months.
TNVRRCARGILL, April 2.
The Customs leceipts for the year ending Maich 31 totalled £83,570, an mcr/rse of £5405 over the pievums 12 months.
