Messrs James Samson and Co yes'erday offered for sale at their rooms ths Empire Hotel, Nns-pby, containing 20 rooms, together with the freehold sections 50,J31, S2, 115, and 117, block I. Bidding for the property started at £500, and was by £25 bids carried to £675, at which figure it fell lo Mr ±1. CcughZan. 'Ihe same firm also offered a freehold hotel property at Outram, at present occupied by Sir O'Kceffe. Bidchrg for this concern commenced at £2000, and was gradually carried to £2450, at which stage, no further bids being forthcoming, the property was passed in. Messrs Park, Reynolds, aaid Co. rcpoit tho sale of sections 29 and 35, block VI, Dtmedm, containing half an acre, with the Princess Theatre - and Provincial Ho'el thereon, t<? Jlesrs Fuller and Sons at a satisfactory figure. The transaction was completed on Thursdaj', vhen the property was duly handed over to Messrs Fuller and Sons.
