INVERCARGILL D.L.F. LITERARY AND DEBATING CLUB.
Dear Dot, — The ordinary weekly meeting of the Invercargill D.L F. Literary and Debating Society was held in ihe Oddfellows' Hall, Tay street, on Wednesday evening, March .'3. There were present of the committee — the president, Willow Brcok (in the chair), Zealia, Ceres, and Eewa. The subject under d ; scu=sion for the evening was "Can Character be Head in the Face 9" A number of the members had given the subject their most thoughtful consideration, and the result was that we had the pleasure of listening to some really excellert papers. The question was finally put to the meeting, and the result was that the majority of members declared that, in their opinion, character could not be read in the face. All D.L.F. are most heartily invited to attend our meetings.— Yours truly, CERES, Secretary.
