DEFINING A "PLACE."
SYDNEY, March 11. Dealing with the question of defining a "place" tind'sr the Betting Act, the Chiei Justice remarked that the decision of the House of Lords in the Kempton Park case was one of the most unsatisfactory given in any court. A case was stated by agreement, and ail the facts were suppressed which might prove hostile to the Kempton Club.
