Notes from Roxburgh. (From Our Own Correspondent.)

ROXBURGH, March 4.

The weather during the past week has been. very wairn and dry, and the river has now gona down a considerable distance. In consequence of /this the King No. 1 dredge has shifted further up the river.

The Jubilee dredge has had a bit of cruising about lately, but is now in the river towards the top of the claim. The gTO\md where she was working near the Teviot River was good but too rough. She did not wash-up this week on account of the broken dredging time.

The King No. 2 dredg« is still being overhauled under dredgemaster M'Donald. The Tevict dredge is working on the east bank, and I hear is doing well.

The tribut'ers on the Eohmoor have Tict done &o well lately. The gold is evidently ■very patchy in this claim
