WAIRARAPA v. HAWKE'S BAY.
NAPIER, March 1. The Wairarapa representatho ciicket" team commenced a match against Hay, ke's Buy to-day. In their fir&t, innings Hawke's Bay scored 166 (G. Hawke 45, Fento", Hall, and Howard 22 each). Wairarapa in their first innings, made 100 (F. Hawke 34. Car-
gill 28). In the second innings Hawke's Bay has lost three wickets for 35 runs. March 2.
The cricket match Wairarapa v. Hawke's Bay was concluded to-day, the local team winning by 200 runs. In their second innings Hawke's Bay scored 172 (Howard 35, Young 28), but Wairarapa at their second attempt made a very poor stand, being all out for 38, Boechey (11) he ing the only double-figure soorer. Fenton took six "wickets for 20 runs, and JJusk four for 15 in the Wairarapa's second innings.
