Coursing enthusiasts are reminded that nominations for th© Oamaru Challenge Stakes, of lOOsovs, close on December 1.

The sj)ovt has taken a fresh lease of life in this island, and its popularity has increased so much that a lengthy list o£ members shoxild be assured. Mr Duggan was identified with the Oamaru Club for a number of years, and under his guidance the new club should soon give decent stakes and provide some good 3port with the strong galloping hares which are to be found in large numbers in his district.
