GRAND RAPIDS RESOLD.
MELBOURNE, November 18. Mr Griffiths, who purchased Grand Rapids for 500 guineas for South Africa, has resol<2 him to Mr Wren, owner of Murmur 4 , at a substantial advance. Mr Griffiths is now in treaty with Mr Stead for the purchase of Machine Gun fcr South Africa. The veterinary surgeon is confident of saving Wairiki for siud p\vrposes. The profit made by the V.R.C. on the spring meeting was £7107.
