Next in ■value is am open* Maiden Plate, of 25sovs, .. which is also to he decided over six furlongs. T\ro handicap trots find a place on the ' programme, and jsero oyen to all-earners. Tho first as She Prince of Wales Handicap, of 25sqvs, one mile and a-half ; and a mile race ha.3 a prize of 20sovs attached to it. The district is catered for by two handicap hack races — one of 16sovs, five furlongs; and another of 15sovs, four furlongs; — whilst a Selling Hack, of 15sovs, js thrown
in to complete what makes on the whole a very attractive programme, which, no doubt, will succeed in winning liberal patronage. The nominations for all events close on Saturday, September 17. Handicaps are to appear on the 27th September, and acceptances must be declared on Saturday, October 1. Mr J. E. Henrys is to be responsible for the adjustments of the weights for the flat races, and Mr Brinkman will allot the handicaps for ths trotting events.
