— For the last time I am able to give notice that entries for the coming show close on Saturday at Mr Charles Bills's shop, George street. After that dafce entries cannon be received without infringing the club rules.

—By the Moeraki, which leaves on Wednesday, Roslyn Vanity makes her second trip to Champion Wishaw Jock, in Australia. This bitch went across last season, but unfortunately, owing to ill-health, she missed. Being now in the best condition, I wish her owner better success.

— TJ»ere is a lot of distemper about just now*, all the principal owners being visited by that trouble and influenza. Mr Hayne's pups have been bad, but are nowpulling through. Mr Hides's pups from Linden Laura (deceased) have been down with an aggravated form of influenza, but are improving under skilful attendance. The Roslyn Kennels have no less than five on the s-iek list, but none seriously.

— Owing to the fact that our townsman, Mr T. Hides, judges at Invercargill, Dunedin fanciers are striving to give him a g-oo'l entry. Messrs Webster, Becjg, Payne, and Hayne are all sending, and the Roslyn Kennels will fail to be represented only owing to bitches being m heat, away, or pro paring for the Dunedin fixture.
