The adjourned meeting of the Penmsiua Road Boaid, held on the 11th. was attended by Messrs M'Cnrdy (chairman), Keekic, Fairbairn, Cowen, Robertson, and Black. Mr M'Curdy was elected' chairman and Mr Black treasurer, with Mr Reekie to countersign cheques. Messrs Cowen, Fair bairn, and Robertson having lesigned their positions as members of the board, the clerk was instructed to public'y notify the extraordinary vacancies. The price for breaking metal was increased to 2s 6d per yard. It was decided to invite tenders for horse and dray labour for Anderson's Bay. John Westfold's tender for 50 yards of metal for Ferguson's load, Sandymount, was accepted. Consideration of tenders for metal for "Wilson's road at Hooper's Inlet was allowed to stand over. Mr Wulliani Dick, Sandymount, was granted a slaughtering license, subject to the approval of the inspector.
