At a meeting of the North Canterbmy Centre 3 of the New Zealand League of Wheelmen the t ndnig of G. Sutherland and E. Connell in the 1 Five-mile Championship came under review. It was cfecided to disqualify both riders for 12 months on the ground of collusion. G. Sutherland and E. Oonnell have both t^prcssed their intention to appeal against their suspension By the North Canterbmy Centre. Sutherland informed a representative of the * Press that he had been offered a sum in excess of the piize money to go down in one or two of the championship events, and had refused the offer.
