Notes from Wetherstones.

February G. The manager of the Local Industry Company finished his paddock on Tuesday lust, getting 6oz 13dwt of rough gold, making tne total quantity got ,out of the psdeioek (which was commenced, on December 12) ?2oz lSdwt. There was over a week's holiday during that time, and for a few weeks they could only work one shift. They are done with Blue Point Gully for the present, and are busy shifting the pipes and plant down into Wetherstones Gully, at the junction of the two gullies at Gunnery Point. The manager of the Golden Crescent commenced work again last Monday. He is unable to elevate steadily at present, there not being sufficient water yet.
