Wheat.— Quality of samples submitted to date is excellent, and several cf the besit lines have found buyers at Ss and 3s 'Old. With, larger offerings market is expected to ease shoitiy. We quote: Prime velvet, 3s; Tuscan (no new offering), 2s lOd to 2s lid!; red chaff, 2s 9d to 2s lOd; fowl wheat, 2s 6d to 2c 80. f.o.b. (sacks in). O«i is. — Steady inquiry, but deliveries 'are sn.r.ll. Gprtons, Is 2d to Is 3d; Danish, la Id to Is Hd ; cams, Is 3d to Is 4d. Barley. — Fair malting, 2s lOd to 2s lid ; feed, Is 9d to 2s. Potatoes. — Market is much firmer in consequence of short supplies. Kidneys, 45s tc 503 (bags m). The above quotations are on trucks at couiv tiy sidings, bags extra except where o'.hsrwisc stated
