An instant* eousidfiation, and the plan wa« formed. He put a pencil behind his tar. pulled out his notebook, and turned about.
"Excuse me. 1 ' he said, "but can either of you gentlemen point me out the housewhere the daring buiglary took pp ee a f ew hour.- ago?"
Th.t hooligans stepped in astonished sic.ice.
" Ciickey !" said one of them. "What a t"t of fools we've been to waste oui time ! What's the good of thinkm' we could get anything out of an anything but bles=cd journalist? "
