COUNTRY CLEARING SALES.
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New Zealand (Limited) report having held a clearing sale at G.enomaru on Tuesday, sth, on behalf of the executors of the late Mr Jackman. The attendance was good, ard, although bidding was inclined to be slow, everything was disposed of a*, prices satisfactory tq» the vendors. Horses sold at £20 to £40; steers at £4 11s to £5 13s; heifers at £3 to £5 Is ; yearlings at £1 16s to £2 19s ; calves at 21s. Implements and sundries sold at current market rates.
