CURRIED FOWL.
Cut a. fowl into pieces, dip e»ch piece separately into a, mixture of ftcur and curry powder; put 2oz of butter into a fryirg pan, add one or two onions cut small, and fry till brown. Put in the piecas of fowl, suld enough boiling water to cover, and simmer slowly for two hours. ROLY POLY. (By request). One pound o£ flour, or Jib each of flour ~nU crumbs, Jib suet; make into a paste with one cup cold witer ; roll out, and spread with jam; roll up, turning the ends in ; lip a pudding cloih into boiling water, sprinkle well with flour, tie the pudding in, plunge into boiling water, and keep boiling for ivro hours. EGOLESS CAKE. (By request). Mis in lib flour a tcaapoenfnl r.ncl a-hali o£ baking powder; beat together Jib eaoli of butter and su^ar ; add jjlb of raisins, threequarlars of a cup of milk; mix all tct;ether, pour iuto a grcas?d tin, and. bake in a moderate oven.
