BUTTERMILK PANCAKES,
Put |lb of flour in a basin, add a little salt, break in two eggs, and make the whole into a thick batter with buttsrmilk. Melt a small piece of butter in a pan ; put in the batter, and make two or three separate little pancakes. When done, heap them one on top of the other in a hot dish. Keep them covered till all are done. These can ' be eaten with butter, but should be served dry.
