Messt" D.ilgety and Co. (Limited) report having received the following rali'p finrn fjicir hrad
office, dated London, 27th April:— "The list of arrivals for the third series of ■wool sales, fixed to open o" May 5, is closed. Total available wool (including old stocks), colonial (Austialasian and Cape) is 208,000 bales. Wool market strong. As compared with closing rates of last sales ye expect that prices will rule 5 per cent, higher." Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Limited) report hav~"ing received the following cable from th*ir head office, dated London, April 29 : — " Merino and fine crossbred wool, as compaied with the average rates of last Antwerp sales prices, nro id higher. Medium and coarse crossbred wools prices are fully maintained."
