At the Homebush sales sheep were in short supply, and the market was the dearest for a long time past. Best wethers sold at 16s 6d ; extra, 19s 9d ; good, 14s to 14s 6d. Best ewea fetched 16j- ; good, 13s 6d to 14s. Best bullocks sold at £11 15s , good, £10 10s. Best cow 3 brought £9 ; good, £7 10s. Best beef sold i>t 33s per 1001b.
