AMATEUR BIDING IN MELBOUKNE.
The amateur riders of Melbourne had a day out, at the Exhibition Oval on Saturday, when tlA?re was an attendance (by invitation) of 5000 people, and the bookmaker was rigidly excluded. The One Mile Champion and the Two Mile Championship each went to F. J. Lindsay.
